Donnie's New Deal...

Donnie Wahlberg Signs Exclusive Licensing Deal With Universal Music Canada

http://getmusic.ca/detail.aspx?nid=250

I Got It’ at Radio and iTunes® Now

Toronto, ON. (27 October, 2009) – Universal Music Canada (UMC), the country’s leading music company, are delighted to announce that they have signed Donnie Wahlberg, star of New Kids On The Block (NKOTB) and the ‘Big Screen’ to an exclusive licensing agreement for Canada. ‘I Got It’, the debut single from Wahlberg, features Aubrey O’Day and is at radio and iTunes® now.

Wahlberg says of the partnership, “Canadian fans have championed the return of New Kids from the start... This solo song and deal are simply an extension of their loyalty and energy.”

“Donnie is an international star and we’re delighted to be furthering our successful relationship with him in Canada,” commented Jeremy Summers, Vice President, Marketing, UMC. “‘I Got It’ is already one of the biggest reaction songs of the fall.”

NKOTB returned to the top of the charts last year with the release of The Block, the band’s first album in almost fifteen years. The corresponding 140-date tour launched with a sold-out three-night stand in Canada, at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre, before going on to thrill over a million fans worldwide.

Back in the late ’80s and early ’90s, NKOTB established what the modern boy band would sound and look like, and became a phenomenon by selling more than 80 million albums worldwide -- including back-to-back international #1 albums, 1988’s Hangin’ Tough and 1990’s Step By Step -- and a series of crossover smash R&B, pop hits like “You Got It (The Right Stuff)”, “Cover Girl”, “Didn’t I (Blow Your Mind This Time)”, “Hangin’ Tough”, “I’ll Be Loving You”, “Step By Step”, and “Tonight”. The group shattered concert box office records playing an estimated 200 concerts a year, in sold out stadiums throughout the world. They were Forbes’ highest paid entertainers of 1990, beating out Michael Jackson and Madonna. The band boasted an extensive and highly profitable merchandise line which included everything from lunch boxes and sleeping bags to comic books, marbles and dolls.

A phenomenal fan base has always been one of the cornerstones of the group’s success and NKOTB's Canadian fans will be thrilled that Donnie Wahlberg is back.

WOW...

That's all I can say.

WOW.

What a way to end my Full Service tour but with a BANG! I went to the Mohegan Sun show on Thursday, June 18th & then the hometown show in Mansfield, MA on June 19th.

Stacey & I went together and did the 5* Meet & Greet because there really is no other way to experience them then through 5*!

Between the two shows I took about 1,500 pictures! 1,500. Crazy! I'm currently in the process of cropping & uploading them now so once they're good to go, I'll definitely post them.

I plan on doing a recap of both shows including the Meet & Greet's but let's just say that I couldn't have asked for anything better! Both Meet & Greet's & concerts were phenomenal! I got some major facetime with Donnie at the Mohegan M&G that the security called it a "lovefest". I managed to get him to sign my soldier tag at Mansfield.

Joe was so sweet to me both nights and he looked hot rocking the new "rocksicle" hair do!

There were so many amazing moments that I'm going to do my best to recount them all because it would be a shame to forget one second. So before I do the actual recap, here's a quick snapshot of what's in my brain that I don't want to forget

Mohegan Moments
  • Rain
  • M&G with Stacey - had fun despite the disorganization, hung out with "normal" girls & our photo group was cool
  • Lovefest with Donnie at Mohegan (talking about my tag, he said he loves me and that I was cute)
  • Thanking Joe for selecting me for the bookdrive for Mansfield even though I couldn't participate
  • Didn't get to hug Danny during M&G - he didn't get a lot of lovin' from our group
  • Our seats were 2nd row center
  • missed Donnie introducing Jabbas
  • Jabbas throwing their hanky at me for chatting with Stacey
  • The Show!

Mansfield Moments

  • Rain in the AM but then the sun came out
  • M&G with Stacey - a bit more organized but this one had a weird vibe. It was as if everyone wanted to come to the hometown show and everyone seemed to be a Donnie girl
  • M&G photo was great - Donnie signed my tag & gave me a hug/kiss thanking me for coming back
  • Talked to Joe about bookdrive, and how I brought a lot of books - he was very appreciative
  • Asked Jon about my uncles and he didn't really seem to care
  • Hugged Danny this time
  • Went to hug Jordan but he had a spider on his shoulder so I picked it off and he called me the "spider saver" - he was in a good mood
  • Seats were 3rd row center!
  • Donnie & Jordan brought Elijah, Dante, Chance & Rob Jr out to introduce Jabbas
  • Got lots of face time DURING the show from Donnie - so much so that I thought I was imagining it until Stacey confirmed it
  • Hometown show was incredible - very emotional for me
  • Cried/teared up several times (opening, IBLYF, One Song, Games, Donnie's talk, Hangin' Tough, and end) and then driving home - 20 years, same venue between shows

Blogging Recap...

I know, I know - I'm so bad in my blogging!

I'm 5 weeks late with my Today Show update. I promise my goal this week is to work on the Today Show, Mohegan & Mansfield recaps - complete with pictures!

Meet and Greet Pictures...

Pics of Meet & Greet from Mohegan:
This displays some of my lovefest with Donnie. Our group consisted of a lot of 5* virgins so they really had no idea what to expect. We lined up and they all asked who we all wanted and it lined up perfectly - there were only 2 Donnie girls! As soon as I got him, I wasn't letting go...and I notice I always go to his right side. He kept whispering things so it made the time so much fun!

Meet & Greet Pics from Mansfield:
I had a very fiesty group who the majority were Donnie girls so I know my chance was limited. I figured that as long as I got my hug/kiss, and he signed my tag then I could share him. And if I can't have Donnie, I'd like Joe please. I chatted with Joe about the bookdrive and how I brought a lot of books tonight. He was so excited and appreciative!

Stacey was extremely happy with Mansfield because being on the end with Jon makes it feel as if it's just the two of them. Plus, it makes for a nicer cropped/zoomed picture of the two of them! Normally, we have to wait almost two weeks to have these pictures posted. But for some blessed reason, each group was posted the night of the show! Talk about being blessed!

DDub Soldier...

Donnie has been asking his loyal fans (who he nicknamed soldiers) to show they're true soldiers when they see him. I tried to think of something clever and came up with a dog tag inspired theme but similar to a M&G laminate.
He was so touched by it at the Mohegan show that he held it and kept saying thank you. I was so excited for the lovefest that I forgot to ask him to sign it. So I knew that at the Mansfield M&G I had a very small window for operation autograph!
As soon as my group walked in, I made a beeline to him. We had a small chat, he said it was nice to see me again and I asked if he could sign my tag since I now had one for both Mohegan & Mansfield. He said sure and signed it. And just as he finished security walked over and asked what I was doing.
I played stupid and headed over to Joe...what? what autograph??
That's right - Operation Autograph Complete!

Where's Waldo?

Here's a picture from the Launch Party taken by the promoters. Can you find myself & Stacey?? We're the ones looking around (and unfortunately not smiling in this one)... but if you find amazon women we're right next to them.

Launch Party

As Stacey pointed out to me, our heads are in a few other pics so here's the link to them: Mindless Photos

Donnie comes Home...

Article from boston.com about Donnie's weekend in Boston (referencing the Celtics game, Launch Party, and a visit to a Dorchester School):

Wahlberg on the C's bandwagon
Is Donnie Wahlberg psychic? We'll find out as the Celtics make a run for banner 18. Wahlberg's prediction: "First of all, they're gonna beat Orlando in five or six. Then we're gonna hope that K.G. comes back, and even if he does, Cleveland is gonna be really overconfident. . . . We're gonna steal one of the first two in Cleveland, then LeBron's gonna sprain his ankle and the Celtics are gonna beat them in five. . . . Then we gotta see if we can beat the Lakers. We gotta get me back in LA and have me like, uh, take Phil Jackson's hearing aid so he can't coach the Lakers properly. Then we can win the whole series. I think we can do it." So do we, Donnie, so do we. . . . Wahlberg has been pitching positivity all over town these past few days. He spent Saturday at the Garden rooting on the gang in green. Sunday, he hosted a party at the Hard Rock Cafe for local hip-hop artist Jimmy Marsh, the first artist signed to Wahlberg's Donnie D record label. Guests at the party included fellow New Kid Jordan Knight, UFC pinup Rachelle Leah, who told us she's been friends with Wahlberg since the two met in Vegas a few years ago. Wahlberg finished the good-will tour by surprising all 63 students at the Mother Caroline Academy in Dorchester with tickets to the New Kids on the Block show in June. "There was a lot of screaming. I've had a headache all day," joked Beth Griffin, the school's director of development. Wahlberg was connected to the school through hedge fund hotshot (and Celtics co-owner) Jim Pallota, an academy donor.

Donnie D Productions Launch Party...

Last night, Stacey & I went to the Launch Party for Donnie D Productions. He's producing a new artist, Jimmy Marsh for his record label. Jimmy Marsh is a member of the NorthSide Boys from back in the day so of course I had to go to support my Dorchester boys. The show was good, better than I anticipated.

Stacey & I met up for dinner at Ned Devine's around 6pm (but we're both always early) and we met in the exact same spot where we had our original private facetime moments back in September. We had dinner, hung out and joked about the weather and if it would rain or not. We decided to head over to the Hard Rock Cafe (HRC) to see if there was a line or not...

We got a tweet from Donnie that they just finished up soundcheck so we figured missed them. So we dropped stuff off at our cars and waited for what seemed like forever for the elevator - but as we'll come to find out that was important to do! Heading to the HRC, we were about to turn the corner to the front door and we hear girls clammering and I see flashes going off. My stomach flips thinking that maybe just maybe...and no sooner do I look thru the doors but Donnie comes out wearing a black shirt & his green Boston Hat. There was a small group of girls before us who he nodded and gave one of them a high five. He walked towards us and I wasn't letting him go with just a high five. I said Hi Donnie and he stopped, grabbed my hand, gave me a hug and we gave each other cheek kisses (honestly these are my FAVORITE kind from him). He stopped and gave Stacey a hug & kiss too. He was so sweet and happy. I barely had time to realize that I had my camera in the other hand but then his buddy pointed him in the direction of the hotel.

AHHHHHH - he made my 2008 and he made my 2009! At that moment, I didn't care how the party went I got my facetime moment.

Stacey & I went in the HRC to wait/hang out. There were plenty of other girls in there too doing the same thing. We sat at the bar and checked out the scene because a HRC hostess told us that we would be able to stay inside and then at 10pm just go over to be checked in. We asked if we would have to line up or go outside and she said no, so we were pretty excited.
She was wrong. At about 9pm, they told us to go outside to line up. More waiting. But at least it wasn't raining! But to be consistent - it was a Donnie Wahlberg event as opposed to a NKOTB event and there was small amounts of sprinkling vs rain. We stood outside with everyone else, including VIPs (who were told on the confirmation they would not have to be in line). Donnie & crew arrived right around 10pm, and finally at about 10:20pm they let people in and we made our way to the stage. We actually ended up getting a pretty decent position at the stage area, only 2 people in front of us most of the time. However, we did seem to have amazon women all around us who got mad at us for just standing there when they were a good foot taller than both of us! HELLO, we're not tall!

There was a dance group before Jimmy Marsh and they were pretty good, and then all of a sudden I look around to check out the crowd and Jordan walks by. I guess he had issues getting past HRC staff (oh lord). The pic I took of Jordan is great because a girl's expression is PRICELESS...look at the picture to see for yourself! There was a M&G, on the stage, for folks who bought VIP. I'm 75/25 glad I didn't do VIP because you paid more and besides a picture, didn't get a better spot at the stage, etc. But the 25% of me is mad because you got the group photo and if you brought up your own camera, Donnie took individual pics with everyone. Crowds were manageable and there was no one pushing people off. It seemed to work well and we watched all of it.

Then it was showtime - there was a great video of Donnie D Productions that I believe Stacey got...in the meantime here's a copy I found on youtube:

Donnie introduced Jimmy Marsh and came right out to the center stage, right in front of us. He even leaned in and let folks get at him. I got stepped on and smooshed by a few amazon women, but I did have my hand on his hand while he was holding the mic. I even was able to take a moment, look at my hand on his while on the mic - it was pretty damn cool.Love this grin...Donnie seemed incredibly happy all night as well he should be. He & Jimmy did some great stuff and the party went very well (except for the line part). Then for the encore, if you will, Donnie came on stage and sang the latest song they did call "I don't give a F*ck". The crowd loved it... Donnie rocked his shades for this performance and the actual song is pretty damn catchy. I just cannot listen to it at work or around my son, for obvious reasons. Overall, it was a fun night and I'm incredibly happy that I went. I'm also incredibly happy that I got more facetime! Bring on 2009!!

And here's a link to all of the pics I took last night: Donnie D Production Launch Party

Today Show...

It's confirmed - Stacey & I are going to the Today Show. WOOO Freakin' HOO!!

I'm so excited! More details to come once we iron them all out...

5 Brothers and a Million Sisters...

Here's the new song from Joe. Here's the actual video so you can hear/see for yourself! Enjoy!!

Here are the official lyrics from Joe:
****************
5 brothers and a million sisters

Friday afternoon in Bostontown
-still know my way around.
Tryin’ ‘a find the rehearsal spot
for the reunion of the ‘kids on the block.

Gonna rip it like we used to do.
Good to be back chillin’ with the crew.
Don’t know how its gonna be,
but last time we made history.

So tell ya mother and ya sistah too,
the New Kids are coming back for you.
And in my heart I knew you’d never forget,
but to see you again like this
makes me feel like I’ll never be alone.

Wherever it is I’m goin’ to,
whatever I am is because of you
and I thank you. And I thank you.
5 BROTHERS AND A MILLION SISTERS
-didn’t know how much I missed you.
Thank you. And I thank you.

All the way back and all the way up tonight.
Call it what you want, but I’ll call it love tonight.
Some people said we couldn’t do it again,
but the New Kids had the last word in the end.

See what happens when you follow your dreams?
See what happens when you just believe?
The whole world opens up her arms.
Everything is easy that used to be hard.

So tell ya mother that I lover her too
and don’t you know we did it all for you,
cuz in my heart I knew you’d never forget,
but to see you again like this
makes me feel like I’ll never be alone.

Wherever it is I’m goin’ to,
whatever I am is because of you and I thank you.
And I thank you.
5 BROTHERS AND A MILLION SISTERS
-didn’t know how much I missed you.
Thank you. And I thank you.

Cuz you build me up.
You make me high.
When I feel your love, I wanna fly.
No matter what we’re goin’ through
there ain’t nothin’ we can’t do.

And I thank you.
************

I wonder if there is any way we can thank him & the rest of the guys for doing this. I know they say they get it, but I really wonder if they know just HOW MUCH this means and how important it is and has become for people. And that means me. This reunion hit at a time in my life where I needed the one thing that has always made me feel like me. Made me truly happy. Made me feel creative, inspired, energized...Like Donnie said, it's not coincidence that we all came together like this and gave so much joy to so many ... not at all!

Update...

I've completely been slacking in my posting. I know. I'm sorry. It's certainly not intentional either as there is plenty of NKOTB related stuff going on.
  • Joe changed up his solo moment in the show by doing a new song he wrote which is pretty damn catchy & if you're a true blockhead is hits the heart in *JUST* the right place!
  • Donnie has a launch party scheduled on May 3rd (a school night) for his Record Label - and YES, I'll be there - school night or not!
  • The boys will be on the Today Show on May 8th - still trying to decide if I'm going to go by myself
  • The Cruise kicks off May 15th with a charity event in Miami the night before (which is dammmmn expensive)
  • Then the Full Service Summer Tour kicks off May 28th in Atlanta through July 18th in Texas
  • All 5 guys have joined Twitter which has supplied me & fellow blockheads with countless hours of joy & enjoyment

I also still have my Manchester recap that I have to finish & subsequently post. Damn work & other non-fun life stuff getting in the way. Maybe my lack of updating is why I have just a few loyal followers.

I will do my best to be more proactive in my blog updating!

Happy Anniversary...

Happy Anniversary, NKOTB!

It was one year ago today that New Kids On The Block were on the Today Show officially announcing their reunion. And after the Today Show, they came home to Boston to meet fans at Kiss108.

I was barely able to focus on work knowing they were on tv. I got several calls from family members that day wanting to know if I knew. As if I didn't...please.

The group's original reunion plan was to record a few songs, do a few shows featuring the old stuff along with some new songs, and just have fun with it. Some were hoping to do a full album where others were waiting to see what happened. I don't think they expected any of this to happen. They didn't expect their fans, both old & new, to come out in droves. They didn't expect the overwhelming response. They didn't expect it, but we gave it. 150%!

Who would have thought that one year later, I would have gone to 6 concerts, one overnight excursion in NYC, and planning on going to more summer shows?!

I didn't, I don't think the guys expected the level of reception they've received either. To quote Jon: "who would have thought that reuniting would have been this much fun!"

But man, I'm so glad that's how the year went and who knows what this year holds...I'm extremely grateful for this reunion and the opportunity it's allowed me to be ME again. For the new friends I've made. For the ability to be connected to Donnie on a different level...Words can't express how much this means to me and how much I'll treasure every single moment of this past New Kids filled year.

"Dirty Dancing" Contest...

There was a contest in Canada that the best video created for NKOTB' ssong "Dirty Dancing" would win tickets to a show in Ottawa. I don't know all of the details because it was specifically for Canadian residents so I didn't pay that close attention.

However, what I did pay attention to is the video of the winner. IT IS INSANE! Insanely creative, interesting & original! I'm glad this won! Check it out for yourself...

NY - Here I Come...

It has been posted on NKOTB's myspace.com page:

TODAY SHOW FRIDAY MAY 8
Come out and support NKOTB performing LIVE on the Today Show, Friday May 8! With Special Guest! Check local listings.

Guess where I'm going?!?!?

And if the Special Guest turns out to be New Edition - AAHHH!

Hangin' Tough Live...

This is the encore from the show the other night... I'm posting it for a plethura of reasons but one is I love the little additions Donnie has added to the song and now sing the song *that* way.

Put your hands up, Baby, put your hands up.... OH OOOOH!

Photos: Manchester, NH

Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the show in Manchester, NH.

I originally took 385 but got it down to 228 (due to blurriness or just bad photos). Aren't you surprised/proud/shocked that rather than uploading them all, I actually deleted over 100 pictures!? I know I am.
I plan on adding more as I finish the recap - but these are just to tied you over...

Boston Film Festival...

“What Doesn’t Kill You,” a feature film written by locals-gone-Hollywood Donnie Wahlberg and Brian Goodman and shot in Boston, will be the opening-night feature at the Boston International Film Festival April 17 at the AMC Loews on Tremont Street.

Twittering...

Guess who's twittering??

My Man, Donnie! You should check him out: twitter.com/DonnieWahlberg

His tweet posts are funny/entertaining/interesting/pure enjoyment. Obviously, you have to know him to understand some of them...but it works for me!

At first folks weren't sure if he was *the* Donnie but lo & behold it is him...his list of followers has grown to almost 4,000 followers in just a week. In fact, his list of followers has almost doubled in 24 hours as he was at ~2,100 yesterday morning.

It's amazing how much influence this man has on so many - me included!

I've sent a few tweets his way and we'll see if he ever replies to me/others. I'll be waiting to see what happens next...all I know is that this is fun to have this connection with him. He's definitely gone out of his way to make himself accessible to fans and you gotta respect that!

Countdown...

Manchester Show is only ONE WEEK AWAY!

WOOOO!

And in true NKOTB Event fashion, rain is predicted for Tuesday. These events are nothing if not consistent...figures!

Rain or Shine - I'm still extremely excited for the show even though we're doing "normal" seats and even though we still haven't sold our other tickets yet.

I'm only going to think happy thoughts!

Color Me Shocked...

I just found out that ILAA (company hosting the VIP Meet & Greets) has already uploaded the 5* pictures from last night's show in Greenville. LAST NIGHT! AMAZING!

When we went to our 5*, we had to wait almost 2 weeks in some cases. Looks like ILAA has gotten their act together...round of applause.

However, I will say that the quality still isn't the best.

Here are a couple pictures from last night's 5*...I don't know any of the girls, but I just wanted to post them because I thought Joe's outfit was cute & appropriate for St. Patrick's Day.
Plus, Donnie looks hot...no surprise there.

Two Weeks...

COUNTDOWN: Manchester is only two weeks away!

I'm going with Alyson, Moira, & Stacey and I'm so excited. We're just going with normal seats (not 5*) as we're saving up the fun, funds, and energy for 5* for the summer leg!

It's going to be a great night. The guys have mixed up the show just a bit, added a song, changed the beginning. I simply can't wait. We're going to have a good time. And if I can get my track jacket, then I am a happy, happy, NKOTB fan...

The Manchester show has a lot to live up to...Donnie has thrown down the gauntlet. Nashville, Tulsa & Orlando had some of the highest intensity and volumes. We can't have a home-town crowd get lost in the shuffle. We simply can't have that at all...

Maybe I need to sneak in a megaphone...I wonder if they'll notice if I snuggle it under my shirt.

TICKETS!!

We're getting closer to the Manchester, NH show at the Verizon Wireless Arena. Have you gotten your tickets yet? NO!?

Well - then you're luck!

I still have 4 tickets that we're trying to sell as we got other tickets. Please email me if you're interested...

YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO GO...

Because He Is...

This video makes me laugh/smile/chuckle...however in my case, I didn't forget him over the years. I don't think anyone could say I forgot him or replaced him over the years since I would celebrate his birthday every year and made sure others knew what August 17th was!

But this video is cute! She uses a dirty word, so be careful when listening!

Fan-dar...

Latest video posted by Jordan showing his insane ability to know when fans are following him in the middle of Times Square! To quote Jordan "I have fan-dar"... it's cute. Plus, I believe the little boy at the end of the video is his son, Dante (which I think is good that they've blurred out his face)

Enjoy (if you want a spoiler)...

Regis & Kelly Appearance...

Here's a video from Donnie's perspective (at least some of it) during their appearance at Regis & Kelly while they sang Tonight (which was not aired on TV)... it's cute. I like how Joe said "yahtzee" and Danny said "bingo" at the end.

Sometimes it's just the little things for me...

Sad...

I found out last night that somehow the DVR recording I had of last week's Today Show is missing from my Recorded List.

WAAAHHHHH!

This now means that the majority of the shows, appearances, news worthy moments I have captured on my DVR of the boys since last April is gone.

I had DVR'd everything from April to mid-September and we lost power to our house and it blew our DVR box and erased everything on it. So I started over with the VH1 Live Behind the Music on September 28th (the one where we had FRONT ROW) . And somehow along the way, things keep disappearing off the list. I think I have 4 or 5 appearances still on the DVR.

That makes me sad...Thankfully I have a potential back-up as Stacey already has them all on DVD so now I just need to be able to make a copy from her. Fingers crossed...

I've been using Twitter for months but figured I'd throw it out there for others to see & enjoy...

UK Footage...

Here is a video montage of live footage from the UK (courtesy of Interscope Records)...this just proves the point that they really must put out a Live DVD. Donnie does keep saying that it's all dictated by the fans and we're dictacting a live DVD...

Lost Video...

I'm at a loss.

I have no idea why the new video will not embed itself into the previous post. I've tried it several times, several different ways.

This makes me sad as I'd like to be able to have it here for all to see (okay, me & the 4 followers). In the meantime, here is the video URL.

Doesn't it figure...

So I was all set to scan my old pics from back in the day and post them here but alas, I broke my printer/scanner. I know it doesn't print, but it still reads my memory sticks, so maybe the scan function still works...I'll have to test it out.

Afterall, who doesn't want to see old Danny as I blinded him backstage or Donnie with his BIG HAIR at Danny's house or Joe during his solo days...

I know I do...

Once I attempt the scan, the pics will be uploaded here of course

Today Show - Take 3...

NKOTB will be on the Today Show this coming Friday (February 20th) to perform their latest single, 2 in the Morning. They'll also be on Regis & Kelly on Thursday. So much for the month long break before they start up their Spring leg.

I can't say that I didn't have the slighest thought in my gut to drive down for the performance and come back. I did take the day off of work even before I knew the Today Show date, so I could go. But they're performing indoors so I wouldn't get close nor would I necessarily be able to hear anything (unless they put speakers outside).

A girl can dream can't she...

Paris Pose Off...

Here are the guys during a recent Pose Off session in Paris. They really have been stepping up their game when it comes to Pose Off pictures while over in Europe. Hell - even Jon's off the ground!
Let's hope they continue they exhuberance when they come back to the States for the Spring leg.

I'll Be There...

This has always been one of my favorite live performances of theirs ... and to see it in 2009, especially Donnie playing the drums. I'm speechless.

Happy Place...

My world is askew - They perform "I'll Be There", Jon drops his pants, and Donnie plays the drums... *HAPPY SIGH*

Kilts...

Who doesn't love hot men in kilts?? The kilts made an appearance at their Glascow show and I think they really should be a constant addition to their wardrobe.

You can't go wrong with hot men in kilts!

Joe's Medley...

Joe mixed up his solo a bit and did a medley at the first show in the UK...and not only that, he turned it into a loving message to his wife, Barrett, who they show on screen. How cute are they!?

European Leg...

The guys leave for Europe this week for their European leg which lasts until Feb 5th...

I'm trying to figure it out ... do they make the announcement before they go or wait until they come back? If they do it now, their European leg will be overshadowed by the news, but it will give this leg more publicity. If they wait, then it's the only thing they have to focus on and they can enjoy the next 3 weeks overseas.

If they do it before, they only have a couple of days so I'd really like them to do it before... but like Jon said "bags are packed..."

Lucky # 7 ???

Stacey & I were talking about the much-anticipated announcement that is scheduled to happen some time in the first of the year. My thought is that once February comes that pretty much rules out "first of the year"...so they don't have much time to waste.

The boys better get crackin' as we're getting antsy!

Jon did post a blog this week saying they're all in LA shooting their 3rd video so maybe that means they're also putting together the final touches on the announcement/May Weekend/2009 tour and that the announcement is going to happen any day now.

But today's the 7th of January... isn't the phrase "Lucky # 7" ???
