Finally!It has only taken 22 years but I finally got my picture taken with Jordan Knight! Despite the number of events, backstage and Meet & Greet moments I've had, I've never actually been able to catch Jordan for a picture.

Well we finally had our chance! An organization that Jordan's wife is the co-chair held an event to raise money. Jordan attended the event last year (we did not attend) and even pulled the raffle winners, so we expected he might be there again this year. Myself, Stacey, Kelley & Melis decided to make it a girls night out - dinner and then the event. If Jordan was there then it was a bonus. If Jordan was there and we got a photo - EXTRA bonus.

We got there pretty early and it was empty. We mingled, hung out, & danced. We hung out with other friends who started to arrive. Then we noticed Jordan just casually walking around. We didn't want to bother him, but he was graciously taking pictures. So as he walked by we asked if we could get a picture and he was so sweet! He stopped and took a picture with each of at some point throughout the night.

So now it's official - I have a picture with each of the New Kids. And not to be greedy, but I just need an updated one with Joe Mac.

Donnie hosted a "Day One" party on 1/1/11 at Ultra 88 at Mohegan Sun! No better way then to start the year off with Donnie Wahlberg! Before the party was a Meet & Greet, so he graciously took photos with everyone - both group & solo photos if you wanted.

Stacey & I were in Group B so after waiting in Group A line, we were able to relax a bit before it was time for our Group. And although the Meet & Greet went pretty quickly he was so sweet & handsome. Our quick moment together, I told him that we needed to have a date for Dot Day (they'll be in Boston the night before for their show at the Garden). He pulled back from me, holding my arms and said to me "it's a date" with only the smirk he can give. And whether or not he remembers is nothing because that moment was a date enough for me!

We took our group photo (Stacey, Donnie, Me & Melissa) and then we were all able to get our own individual pictures. The sweetest moment was when we were standing there for our group photo - he paused and asked Stacey & I why we were not on the bus with him earlier that day. (There was the opportunity to take a bus trip with him to the party). We quickly explained it wasn't an option this time but the fact that he knew we weren't there and thought enough to ask why meant the world.This man is the most gracious person - giving his time, energy & love to all of his fans! And I'm pretty sure this might be my most favorite picture of he & I...Then we went into the club to dance & hang out ... he sang a few songs and stood on the podiums to perform for us. And then special guests, Naughty by Nature performed. Overall it was a great night & a great way to kick start the year!

Donnie Wahlberg stars in a new tv show with Tom Selleck this fall. I'm so excited to be able to watch him on tv weekly again! And he plays a cop, again! He plays cops very well.

One Year Ago...

A year ago this week, I was in Donnie-heaven. First we were able to greet him at the airport where he was super sweet.

And then we went to visit him at his trailer on the set of Zookeeper. Again, he was incredibly sweet & funny!

He was so incredibly sweet and wouldn't let go, & kept giving me hugs. He told me he loved me...as he whispered in my ear.

Donnie Wahlberg's Birthday Party

Donnie had a birthday party last night at Mohegan Sun to celebrate his 40th birthday (again - as he turned 40 last year). Of course I wasn't missing out!
We had a great location of where we stood as it was right in front of the podium Donnie was going to be on to perform/talk. So nice to be that close!He came out and thanked everyone for being there! Then he had the entire club sing happy birthday to 'us' as he wanted it to be one giant celebration for all of us. Then he came over to 'cut' the cake. The cake had these cool chocolate decorations on them which had pictures of Donnie on them from different years/shows, etc. He started handing out some to the crowd and of course girls got pushy.

At one point he started to walk towards the other side of the club and hand out a few more chocolate pieces. Then, as if by magic, he turns to his left and sees me around one of the security guys shoulder. He gave me a great big grin as if to say 'I know you're here'. He takes a chocolate piece from the tray and hands it to me! ME! Someone else tried to grab it but he took it back to make sure I got it. It was very cool. Here's my chocolate piece which is now in a plastic bag in my freezer!He performed 'Rise & Grind', "I Got It" and one of Jimmy & Roscoe's songs. At the end of the night, he sang along to 'Single'!As the night went on, I was okay that I might not get a hug from Donnie but felt lucky because I did get a chocolate picture handed to me by him! The night was winding down and I needed to go rest my feet so I went to hang with Kim & Stacy in their little nook. All of a sudden, Donnie walks toward the podium just where I'm standing! He sees me & smiles...my heart just sang. We both cocked our heads to the side and then he put his arm out for a hug. My night was complete. Then he started to be goofy before he got on the podium and was starting to groove on. I couldn't resist swaying with him and putting my head on his shoulders...did I mention pure bliss!?
I couldn't have asked for a better night - I got to celebrate Donnie's birthday, Donnie handed me chocolate (that's like mecca), I got a Donnie hug & a smile! Pure bliss!

FACETIME...

Since the reunion in 2008, I've been incredibly blessed to have some quality facetime with not only NKOTB but more specifically Donnie.

There have been countless times over the past 2 years that I have had conversations with myself about how the inner 17 year old would never have believed that Donnie would not only know me by sight but also know my name. The inner 17 year old would have also never have dreamed that she would so fortunate to spend time with him in his movie trailer, wearing his sunglasses & headphones.

That's right, I wore Donnie Wahlberg's headphones! Picture to come!

Here's where it all started...Sept 2008, Newbury Comics, CD Signing

Then we moved to our first 5* Meet & Greet before showtime - Sept 28th, 2008, Boston Garden

Second 5* Meet & Greet was only two days later on Sept 30th, 2008 - Mohegan Sun, CT. I wasn't fortunate to stand with Donnie but I did get to chill with Joe:

The Mohegan Sun Meet & Greet was one of the better opportunities we had for individual pictures. It was also the very first time I got my first intentional picture of Donnie & I. I asked him to sign my "DOT" sticker and asked for a picture. I was shocked I was able to speak but I did.

I also managed to get pictures with Jon & Danny at that Meet & Greet

The next opportunity for Face Time happened at the next 5* Meet & Greet which was November 8th, 2008 back at Mohegan Sun. I went with Alyson, Stacey & Kelley and we had a plan to make sure Kelley & I were next to Donnie however he was bumrushed by girls we have renamed the "Bubble Dress Girls". So right before the picture was taken I was standing there alone so I ran over to the end, next to Jon (and I ended up holding my own arse):

From November 2008 to March 2009 was pretty quiet for shows/facetime. So when the Spring/Summer tour was announced, we were all over it! We decided to get "normal" seats for the March 2009 show so we could save money to buy 5* Meet & Greet passes for the summer shows.

The first 5* was back at Mohegan Sun on June 18th, 2009. This was a great moment for me because not only did Donnie recognize me but he grabbed me, called me his "love" and wouldn't let go! In fact the security guy had to ask us to "break up our lovefest". Here's the proof:

And the very next night, Stacey & I had our last 5* of the tour home in Mansfield! Wouldn't have wanted it any other place... this night I was not as fortunate to get to stand next to Donnie as those girls were NOT budging. They followed him with arms around his waist around the entire area. So instead of Donnie, I made a beeline to Joe! I was standing next to Jordan at one point and there was a spider on his shoulder which I told him to stand still and I picked it off him. He called me his spider hero. Then it was time for the photo and Joe recognized me, told me to come over and called me "BUDDY!" He also told me how cool he thought my black bracelet was. I almost gave it to him but the photographer distracted us, as it was now picture time.

After the photo, I snuck back to Donnie to ask him to sign my Donnie-tag which he was so excited to do and said I shouldn't feel bad to ask him.

After the summer tour ended, we all kind of wondered what would happen next. And thankfully for us, Donnie wasn't ready to end the facetime either! That August he decided to throw a few parties to celebrate his 40th birthday! One of the parties was held in Boston. My friends couldn't go but I wasn't going to pass up the opportunity so I went solo.

That night was a bit crazy! We waited a long time to get in and then a lot more before he even got into the club. But I was standing in the best spot...I knew that he had to walk by me to make his way up to VIP and it was confirmed the way Johnny (his assistant) was walking in my direction. I stood my ground avoiding the arms & shoulders in my back which got pretty intense once he started walking towards us.

I was thankful that the club took pics and I found as Donnie enters and happens to walk right by me. You can see the back of my head with the bobby pins right next to Johnny’s white shirt, I’m in front of the girl with the blonde bob. Donnie’s next to him in the gray shirt, Robo is directly behind him.

Here he is getting closer and has now turned so he’s facing my side of the… for some reason Johnny was moving perfectly so that Donnie would end up right in front of me.

And Johnny steps by and Donnie is facing me so I go to give him a hug and he stops so I put my hand (I know that’s my hand because of the bracelet and because that’s my hand/head) on his face and then he leans. I was just going to hug him but he kissed me too! And here is where I started to get smooshed as you can tell. But the look on his face literally makes my heart melt!

The fall of 2009 was beyond anything I could have imagined! I had several moments/ opportunities with Donnie and every time, Donnie was so incredibly nice & welcoming. I don't know if I have a favorite moment but there are definite highlights! Each moment was special for me but when he pointed me out of a crowd & knew my name, even giving me a little nickname, I was over the moon for at least a week! It might have made my year! This man has no idea how incredibly special he is to me nor does he realize how special he makes me feel!

That's all I can say.

WOW.

What a way to end my Full Service tour but with a BANG! I went to the Mohegan Sun show on Thursday, June 18th & then the hometown show in Mansfield, MA on June 19th.

Stacey & I went together and did the 5* Meet & Greet because there really is no other way to experience them then through 5*!

Between the two shows I took about 1,500 pictures! 1,500. Crazy! I'm currently in the process of cropping & uploading them now so once they're good to go, I'll definitely post them.

I plan on doing a recap of both shows including the Meet & Greet's but let's just say that I couldn't have asked for anything better! Both Meet & Greet's & concerts were phenomenal! I got some major facetime with Donnie at the Mohegan M&G that the security called it a "lovefest". I managed to get him to sign my soldier tag at Mansfield.

Joe was so sweet to me both nights and he looked hot rocking the new "rocksicle" hair do!

There were so many amazing moments that I'm going to do my best to recount them all because it would be a shame to forget one second. So before I do the actual recap, here's a quick snapshot of what's in my brain that I don't want to forget

This displays some of my lovefest with Donnie. Our group consisted of a lot of 5* virgins so they really had no idea what to expect. We lined up and they all asked who we all wanted and it lined up perfectly - there were only 2 Donnie girls! As soon as I got him, I wasn't letting go...and I notice I always go to his right side. He kept whispering things so it made the time so much fun!

Meet & Greet Pics from Mansfield:
I had a very fiesty group who the majority were Donnie girls so I know my chance was limited. I figured that as long as I got my hug/kiss, and he signed my tag then I could share him. And if I can't have Donnie, I'd like Joe please. I chatted with Joe about the bookdrive and how I brought a lot of books tonight. He was so excited and appreciative!

Stacey was extremely happy with Mansfield because being on the end with Jon makes it feel as if it's just the two of them. Plus, it makes for a nicer cropped/zoomed picture of the two of them! Normally, we have to wait almost two weeks to have these pictures posted. But for some blessed reason, each group was posted the night of the show! Talk about being blessed!

Donnie has been asking his loyal fans (who he nicknamed soldiers) to show they're true soldiers when they see him. I tried to think of something clever and came up with a dog tag inspired theme but similar to a M&G laminate.

He was so touched by it at the Mohegan show that he held it and kept saying thank you. I was so excited for the lovefest that I forgot to ask him to sign it. So I knew that at the Mansfield M&G I had a very small window for operation autograph!

As soon as my group walked in, I made a beeline to him. We had a small chat, he said it was nice to see me again and I asked if he could sign my tag since I now had one for both Mohegan & Mansfield. He said sure and signed it. And just as he finished security walked over and asked what I was doing.

I played stupid and headed over to Joe...what? what autograph??

Donnie D Productions Launch Party...

Last night, Stacey & I went to the Launch Party for Donnie D Productions. He's producing a new artist, Jimmy Marsh for his record label. Jimmy Marsh is a member of the NorthSide Boys from back in the day so of course I had to go to support my Dorchester boys. The show was good, better than I anticipated.

Stacey & I met up for dinner at Ned Devine's around 6pm (but we're both always early) and we met in the exact same spot where we had our original private facetime moments back in September. We had dinner, hung out and joked about the weather and if it would rain or not. We decided to head over to the Hard Rock Cafe (HRC) to see if there was a line or not...

We got a tweet from Donnie that they just finished up soundcheck so we figured missed them. So we dropped stuff off at our cars and waited for what seemed like forever for the elevator - but as we'll come to find out that was important to do! Heading to the HRC, we were about to turn the corner to the front door and we hear girls clammering and I see flashes going off. My stomach flips thinking that maybe just maybe...and no sooner do I look thru the doors but Donnie comes out wearing a black shirt & his green Boston Hat. There was a small group of girls before us who he nodded and gave one of them a high five. He walked towards us and I wasn't letting him go with just a high five. I said Hi Donnie and he stopped, grabbed my hand, gave me a hug and we gave each other cheek kisses (honestly these are my FAVORITE kind from him). He stopped and gave Stacey a hug & kiss too. He was so sweet and happy. I barely had time to realize that I had my camera in the other hand but then his buddy pointed him in the direction of the hotel.

AHHHHHH - he made my 2008 and he made my 2009! At that moment, I didn't care how the party went I got my facetime moment.

Stacey & I went in the HRC to wait/hang out. There were plenty of other girls in there too doing the same thing. We sat at the bar and checked out the scene because a HRC hostess told us that we would be able to stay inside and then at 10pm just go over to be checked in. We asked if we would have to line up or go outside and she said no, so we were pretty excited.
She was wrong. At about 9pm, they told us to go outside to line up. More waiting. But at least it wasn't raining! But to be consistent - it was a Donnie Wahlberg event as opposed to a NKOTB event and there was small amounts of sprinkling vs rain. We stood outside with everyone else, including VIPs (who were told on the confirmation they would not have to be in line). Donnie & crew arrived right around 10pm, and finally at about 10:20pm they let people in and we made our way to the stage. We actually ended up getting a pretty decent position at the stage area, only 2 people in front of us most of the time. However, we did seem to have amazon women all around us who got mad at us for just standing there when they were a good foot taller than both of us! HELLO, we're not tall!

There was a dance group before Jimmy Marsh and they were pretty good, and then all of a sudden I look around to check out the crowd and Jordan walks by. I guess he had issues getting past HRC staff (oh lord). The pic I took of Jordan is great because a girl's expression is PRICELESS...look at the picture to see for yourself! There was a M&G, on the stage, for folks who bought VIP. I'm 75/25 glad I didn't do VIP because you paid more and besides a picture, didn't get a better spot at the stage, etc. But the 25% of me is mad because you got the group photo and if you brought up your own camera, Donnie took individual pics with everyone. Crowds were manageable and there was no one pushing people off. It seemed to work well and we watched all of it.

Then it was showtime - there was a great video of Donnie D Productions that I believe Stacey got...in the meantime here's a copy I found on youtube:

Donnie introduced Jimmy Marsh and came right out to the center stage, right in front of us. He even leaned in and let folks get at him. I got stepped on and smooshed by a few amazon women, but I did have my hand on his hand while he was holding the mic. I even was able to take a moment, look at my hand on his while on the mic - it was pretty damn cool.Love this grin...Donnie seemed incredibly happy all night as well he should be. He & Jimmy did some great stuff and the party went very well (except for the line part). Then for the encore, if you will, Donnie came on stage and sang the latest song they did call "I don't give a F*ck". The crowd loved it... Donnie rocked his shades for this performance and the actual song is pretty damn catchy. I just cannot listen to it at work or around my son, for obvious reasons. Overall, it was a fun night and I'm incredibly happy that I went. I'm also incredibly happy that I got more facetime! Bring on 2009!!

I wonder if there is any way we can thank him & the rest of the guys for doing this. I know they say they get it, but I really wonder if they know just HOW MUCH this means and how important it is and has become for people. And that means me. This reunion hit at a time in my life where I needed the one thing that has always made me feel like me. Made me truly happy. Made me feel creative, inspired, energized...Like Donnie said, it's not coincidence that we all came together like this and gave so much joy to so many ... not at all!

I've completely been slacking in my posting. I know. I'm sorry. It's certainly not intentional either as there is plenty of NKOTB related stuff going on.

Joe changed up his solo moment in the show by doing a new song he wrote which is pretty damn catchy & if you're a true blockhead is hits the heart in *JUST* the right place!
Donnie has a launch party scheduled on May 3rd (a school night) for his Record Label - and YES, I'll be there - school night or not!
The boys will be on the Today Show on May 8th - still trying to decide if I'm going to go by myself
The Cruise kicks off May 15th with a charity event in Miami the night before (which is dammmmn expensive)
Then the Full Service Summer Tour kicks off May 28th in Atlanta through July 18th in Texas
All 5 guys have joined Twitter which has supplied me & fellow blockheads with countless hours of joy & enjoyment

I also still have my Manchester recap that I have to finish & subsequently post. Damn work & other non-fun life stuff getting in the way. Maybe my lack of updating is why I have just a few loyal followers.

I will do my best to be more proactive in my blog updating!

Happy Anniversary, NKOTB!

It was one year ago today that New Kids On The Block were on the Today Show officially announcing their reunion. And after the Today Show, they came home to Boston to meet fans at Kiss108.

I was barely able to focus on work knowing they were on tv. I got several calls from family members that day wanting to know if I knew. As if I didn't...please.

The group's original reunion plan was to record a few songs, do a few shows featuring the old stuff along with some new songs, and just have fun with it. Some were hoping to do a full album where others were waiting to see what happened. I don't think they expected any of this to happen. They didn't expect their fans, both old & new, to come out in droves. They didn't expect the overwhelming response. They didn't expect it, but we gave it. 150%!

Who would have thought that one year later, I would have gone to 6 concerts, one overnight excursion in NYC, and planning on going to more summer shows?!

I didn't, I don't think the guys expected the level of reception they've received either. To quote Jon: "who would have thought that reuniting would have been this much fun!"

But man, I'm so glad that's how the year went and who knows what this year holds...I'm extremely grateful for this reunion and the opportunity it's allowed me to be ME again. For the new friends I've made. For the ability to be connected to Donnie on a different level...Words can't express how much this means to me and how much I'll treasure every single moment of this past New Kids filled year.

There was a contest in Canada that the best video created for NKOTB' ssong "Dirty Dancing" would win tickets to a show in Ottawa. I don't know all of the details because it was specifically for Canadian residents so I didn't pay that close attention.

Full Service Tour 2009...

The Summer Tour, Full Service Tour, has officially been announced on People.com. And I will officially be at the Mohegan Sun & Mansfield shows here in New England. Now, if they add New Edition as a Special Guest - I'll be SO excited (considering the name of their new tour is the song they sing with New Edition)...

If you missed them the first time around, now's your chance to catch the New Kids on the Block live on stage. The group is launching the Full Service Tour, which kicks off May 28 in Atlanta. Starting April 3, tickets and VIP packages – which will include backstage BBQs with the guys – will be available. (Special $10 lawn seats will also be available for a limited time.)

Joining the tour are America's Best Dance Crew winners JabbawockeeZ, as well as other surprise guests. "Full service! You want it, you're gonna get it," member Donnie Walhberg says in the band's vlog. There are also still a limited number of cabins available for their cruise, which sets sail from Ft. Lauderdale to the Bahamas on May 15.

His tweet posts are funny/entertaining/interesting/pure enjoyment. Obviously, you have to know him to understand some of them...but it works for me!

At first folks weren't sure if he was *the* Donnie but lo & behold it is him...his list of followers has grown to almost 4,000 followers in just a week. In fact, his list of followers has almost doubled in 24 hours as he was at ~2,100 yesterday morning.

It's amazing how much influence this man has on so many - me included!

I've sent a few tweets his way and we'll see if he ever replies to me/others. I'll be waiting to see what happens next...all I know is that this is fun to have this connection with him. He's definitely gone out of his way to make himself accessible to fans and you gotta respect that!

I just found out that ILAA (company hosting the VIP Meet & Greets) has already uploaded the 5* pictures from last night's show in Greenville. LAST NIGHT! AMAZING!

When we went to our 5*, we had to wait almost 2 weeks in some cases. Looks like ILAA has gotten their act together...round of applause.

However, I will say that the quality still isn't the best.

Here are a couple pictures from last night's 5*...I don't know any of the girls, but I just wanted to post them because I thought Joe's outfit was cute & appropriate for St. Patrick's Day.

Plus, Donnie looks hot...no surprise there.

Two Weeks...

COUNTDOWN: Manchester is only two weeks away!

I'm going with Alyson, Moira, & Stacey and I'm so excited. We're just going with normal seats (not 5*) as we're saving up the fun, funds, and energy for 5* for the summer leg!

It's going to be a great night. The guys have mixed up the show just a bit, added a song, changed the beginning. I simply can't wait. We're going to have a good time. And if I can get my track jacket, then I am a happy, happy, NKOTB fan...

The Manchester show has a lot to live up to...Donnie has thrown down the gauntlet. Nashville, Tulsa & Orlando had some of the highest intensity and volumes. We can't have a home-town crowd get lost in the shuffle. We simply can't have that at all...

Maybe I need to sneak in a megaphone...I wonder if they'll notice if I snuggle it under my shirt.

Sad...

I found out last night that somehow the DVR recording I had of last week's Today Show is missing from my Recorded List.

WAAAHHHHH!

This now means that the majority of the shows, appearances, news worthy moments I have captured on my DVR of the boys since last April is gone.

I had DVR'd everything from April to mid-September and we lost power to our house and it blew our DVR box and erased everything on it. So I started over with the VH1 Live Behind the Music on September 28th (the one where we had FRONT ROW) . And somehow along the way, things keep disappearing off the list. I think I have 4 or 5 appearances still on the DVR.

That makes me sad...Thankfully I have a potential back-up as Stacey already has them all on DVD so now I just need to be able to make a copy from her. Fingers crossed...

Today Show - Take 3...

NKOTB will be on the Today Show this coming Friday (February 20th) to perform their latest single, 2 in the Morning. They'll also be on Regis & Kelly on Thursday. So much for the month long break before they start up their Spring leg.

I can't say that I didn't have the slighest thought in my gut to drive down for the performance and come back. I did take the day off of work even before I knew the Today Show date, so I could go. But they're performing indoors so I wouldn't get close nor would I necessarily be able to hear anything (unless they put speakers outside).

The guys leave for Europe this week for their European leg which lasts until Feb 5th...

I'm trying to figure it out ... do they make the announcement before they go or wait until they come back? If they do it now, their European leg will be overshadowed by the news, but it will give this leg more publicity. If they wait, then it's the only thing they have to focus on and they can enjoy the next 3 weeks overseas.

If they do it before, they only have a couple of days so I'd really like them to do it before... but like Jon said "bags are packed..."

Stacey & I were talking about the much-anticipated announcement that is scheduled to happen some time in the first of the year. My thought is that once February comes that pretty much rules out "first of the year"...so they don't have much time to waste.

The boys better get crackin' as we're getting antsy!

Jon did post a blog this week saying they're all in LA shooting their 3rd video so maybe that means they're also putting together the final touches on the announcement/May Weekend/2009 tour and that the announcement is going to happen any day now.

Donnie is in Boston the next two weeks filming the pilot for his next tv series, "Bunker Hill". It's about a cop who returns to his childhood neighborhood as the cop. Donnie does very well in cop shows/movies - just as long as he's on the good side of the law. Whenever he's on the bad side, he gets shot in the head! We can't have that, now can we!

Monday he was filming at the Union Oyster House down in Fanueil Hall. It's times like this I wish I still lived in Boston &/or Southie so I could pop down.

And to show that I can be objective ... I'm not digging the hair 'do' they got going on on him.

Boston Music Awards...

This year, the 21st Boston Music Awards (BMAs) were held on Sunday, December 7th. They did it a bit differently this year where it was invite/industry only with a few VIP tickets available for purchase.

New Kids On The Block were up for National Act of The Year. I have gone to the award show several times back in the 90s but stopped going when I didn't necessarily have a vested interest. While I do enjoy the thought of supporting local music, there just happened to be nothing that interested me personally.

I did not attend this year as I am being responsible and not spending money on another "show". Not because I'm a 'grown - up', but because I'm saving up for shows next year!

Anyway, I digress...

I'm happy to report that New Kids won their award! How exciting - I'm quite proud of what they achieved when so many said this was a cheesy marketing ploy - "to all you non-believers I say 'peace', you suckers"... (sorry I felt a specific song lyric was appropriate)

November 25th...

19 years ago I attended my 3rd New Kids On The Block concert at the Boston Garden. For some reason, this one holds a lot of meaning to me. I don't know if it's because I saved up the money, I stood in line at the Garden to actually buy the tickets (this is long before the days of buying tickets online - you had to use a phone or go to the physcial venue), and we ended up getting 3rd row on the side. I don't know what it is but every year, the date of November 25th has a special place in my heart.

I can still picture Donnie's red glittery jacket vividly that he wore for "This One's for the Children" and seeing him stand on stage with just a single spotlight as he was talking to the crowd about 'a very serious message, so please listen'...

Maybe it was because we had the best seats for a New Kids show that I had...ever. Maybe it's because Donnie stood on our side when he sang and even pointed at 'me'. (yah yah, I know) Or maybe it's because I felt as if I did the whole thing without help and got to enjoy one heckuva show!

Who knows what special place my latest dates will hold but something tells me that this time next year, I'll be just as excited...

American Music Awards...

New Kids On The Block are scheduled to perform at the American Music Awards (AMAs) for the first time in 16 years (at least). The Awards are this coming Sunday, November 23rd.

Guess what I realized...I will be in NJ at my in-law's house for an early Thanksgiving celebration. Thankfully I have already set up my DVR as this is not my ideal location for watching my guys perform on an awards show.

After almost 2 weeks of 'patiently' waiting, the group photos are up at ILAA's website. Per the other Meet & Greet photos, the quality sucks. And not only that...I'm at the end no where near Donnie, or Joe for that matter.

Stacey looks extremely excited to be cuddly with Jon and Alyson & Joe look damn cute with their hats. But can I just ask...why the hell am I holding my own arse? Shouldn't someone else be doing that for me? All I'm saying that it's kharma that the girl in the blue bubble dress, who pushed me out of the way of my Donnie spot, looks like she has a HUGE ARSE!

New Kids On The Block are a Boston Music Awards 2008 Act of the Year nominee! The Boston Music Awards will be held on December 7 this year. It's been years since they've been nominated and I think it's just cool that their reunion is garnishing this much buzz that they're up for an award for Act of the Year.

I've gone to several Boston Music Awards (1990, 1991 & 1992) when they were up for all kinds of awards back in the day. It was crazy, hectic & so much fun. I may even have to contemplate if I go again.

I wouldn't be a true, die-hard fan if I didn't go, right??

I think that everyone who reads this should vote for them under "Artist of the Year (National)" from now until December 5th.

That is me, patiently, waiting for ILAA to post the Official Group pictures from our VIP Meet & Greet last week.

It's been 8 days...what could take so long?

How is it possible that I can upload 400+ pictures to my computer, then upload them to a website, post them on a blog, and send them to friends within 24 hours yet this company can't upload/post about 50 pictures? They even had a few days off this week...what's their excuse?

I don't know why I'm so anxious. I know the one thing I'm really looking forward to won't be there. I know the picture of Joey & I lying on the ground together won't be included. I know that was taken by a photographer for the group. I don't know how to get a copy of that picture.

Guess all I can do is patiently wait...

There is an article featured on boston.com about the house in Dorchester where Jordan & Jonathan grew up in. It's a nice article as opposed to bashing which is a pleasant surprise.

I grew up a street over. When they were living there is was bright yellow, then they painted it a dark plum/moss color (which made it a bit eery). It appears the new owners (Salvation Army) painted it and it looks really nice.

I'm afraid for the new owners. There is already a planned event to have a group of people get together to go for a tour. (shaking my head)

Here are a few pics from Saturday's show...somehow I managed to take 403 pictures! I have no idea how I managed this. The only thing I can think of is that I tried extra hard to take good/quality pictures because the fat-head man in front of us was ruining all of my intended shots.

Recap: Mohegan Sun/CT Show 11/8/08...

I'm sad. My Fall 2008 NKOTB mini-tour is over. I went to 5 shows for 5 guys from the Beantown land... But what a way to go out...5* at Mohegan!

M&G was cool, a different vibe from the first 5* Mohegan, more amped up I think. It was in a different location than before - this time the ballroom as opposed to the Cabaret Theatre. The line was crazy long but it was fun to watch people look for their different groups and then say "oh you look nothing like your picture". It seemed to take a long time to check people in than it has in other M&Gs. The nice woman from ILAA was getting really annoyed with people coming up saying we have 7 in our group/8 in our group because we were making the process longer for her. She even made a comment to us so we promised to make it very easy and not argue with her as some girls in front of us were. We got in (I was with my sister, Stacey & Kelley) and we met 2 girls from NY. (Who later got caught taking video of the show)

We were group J (For Joe/Jon/Jordan). Once in the ballroom they had curtains set up in the back to partion off a secluded section for the group photos which helped make it more private. Good thing was that it was better for your specific group shot to keep it personal but you don't get to catch glimpses of them throughout the time there. We sat at the table and waited for our turn. Robo came in, gave the speech about sitting, cameras, phones etc. People were still using phones but cameras remainded hidden. Then the screaming began as the guys came into the room and poked their heads thru the curtains. Donnie came in, stood on a chair and 'asked' for the screams. He said a few things in the bullhorn but couldn't really hear him. Then they did the photos.

When it was our turn, we got in line and got ready. And for some reason I had huge butterflies in my stomach. I was wearing a "Dot Rat" shirt in the hopes to have a good Donnie conversation. And afterall, I am a true, original Dot Rat. I walked in the curtain and was first in my group. Danny yelled out "DOT RAT" and he held his arms out for a hug. So I hugged him, then hugged Jordan as I wanted to get to Donnie who was next. I went over to Donnie and he gave me a huge hug. He asked how I was doing and said good I see. He winked at me and said that he appreciated the shirt. I told him that back at the Boston CD Signing I told him that from one Dot Rat to another I was proud of him and he said I know (which got me confused) and then he said, because of you I got my own Dot Rat shirt, did you see? I said yes which is why I have mine. He kept saying I got it because of you and that you told me that. I wore it to the show, did you see? At this point I was so confused because I couldn't really believe that he got & wore the shirt because I told him that a fellow Dot Rat was proud. So I hugged him again and he grabbed my hand so hard and tried to put me next to him but I was twarted by another girl! DAMMIT!

SO I went to hug Joe & Jon and then I heard Robo say picture time. I, again, was not standing next to a guy. I panicked. I went to look for Joe because I saw Donnie had two girl clinging on to either side. Then I saw Stacey standing next to Jon who had no one else with him, so I jumped at the end next to Jon. Who by the way smells very clean and his sweater was very cozy to hug.

The picture was over and I saw Stacey telling Jon about the twix gift she left for them and he said "oh thank you so much". Then Joe goofily collapsed on the floor. I asked Jon if he was going to make it to the show and he said "yeah, he's just being a goof". Then you heard Jordan on the bullhorn "And ladies if you look to your left you will see Joe McIntyre passed out on the floor". So I went over to Joe to help him up. I gave him my hand and said I'd help him up, but he pulled me down on the floor next to him. WELL HELL YEAH! I wasn't going to pass this up. I laid down next to him and put my head on his shoulder a bit and said 'well this is comfy'. And he said "I never laid down with a Dot Rat before". And then the ILAA photographer came over and took our picture from up above. It was quite fun & cute!

Then all the groups when through and Joe & Donnie poked through the curtain and thanked everyone. They used the bullhorn and thanked us as they know a lot of us have come to multiple shows/M&Gs and that they appreciate it. Then Joe said it was time for them to 'blow our asses up'.

And that was it- no mingling, individual pics, etc. They were running really late so we figured that there wouldn't be any of that. And that was the M&G...fun, entertaining, confusing, quick

The show was of course fantastic...We had 7th row and despite being behind a jerk-off and a hoochie-mama it was so much fun! However, the security in the arena really is pretty bad. They gave me a hard time for having the bottow piece of my ticket missing that says 'no cameras' and almost wouldn't let me to my seat but then they'll let EVERYONE and their Mother's down to front row and just stand in the aisles and try to get in your seat.

I've decided that I've already recapped the show and know just how great it is that I'm not going to recap to discuss the annoyances of the night. No need to ruin such a perfectly good memory/evening with them! Plus, I got to hang out with friends during the night and also meet up with new friends, Megan & Mel! You can't beat a night out with friends who all enjoy the men from The Block just as much as you do... It was a great night!

I took a lot of pics so I'll post those when I get them up. Summer '09 can't come fast enough...

New Kids On The Block ~ Providence, RI ~ November 6th, 2008

Last night was my fourth show in the NKOTB Mini-Fall 2008 Tour. This particular show was a normal show, no frills, whistles, or bells. Just a good ole fashion concert to go, watch, listen & enjoy. It was almost hard to do just that, enjoy without frills, but I certainly can always enjoy the guys. Frills or no frills.

Alyson & Moira joined the tour as well. Alyson & I originally got tickets but thankfully Moira was able to find a single ticket on ticketmaster so she could come too. I'm glad she was able to because she commented how she wished she was able to see the show more than once and that we were able to go together. We got there for 7:30pm but took our time getting to our seats as we weren't that interested in seeing the opening acts. We completely missed Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga opened before Natasha Beddingfield and I had no clue...and I thought we got there in plenty of time. Guess the 'music' was so 'eh' that I thought it was just the sound system. Oops. I've heard from other people that she wasn't good at all...We didn't see Natasha either but we heard her from our spot on the concourse.

We hung out on the concourse having a snack & drinks. And all the while we were doing a serious case of People-Watching. For the record, I don't mind the city of Providence but this was definitely a different crowd/vibe. It really seemed to have more of a 'white-trash' or bad-slutty vibe. Some of the outfits girls were wearing were horrific. There were girls who were fully decked in head-to-toes 80s garb (long oversized, off the shoulder tshirts, leg warmers, spandex 'pants', and stilletos) and they had their hair in ponytails off to the side. BAD BAD BAD!

Other girls took the slutty approach. So I've seen slutty outfits and some women have the bodies/confidence/clothes to pull it off, however the attempts last night were a) over the top b) inappropriate c) HORRIBLE. I don't want to see your cleavage that's pushed up to your armpits and apparent that the shirt hurts like hell. I also don't want to see your love handles over your microskirt which you keep tugging on because you don't feel comfortable wearing it.

You do realize you're sitting in section 221?? Jordan can't see your boobs. Jordan doesn't want to see your mangled boobs.

Donnie might want to, but that's a different story.

We got to our seats which were floor seats but all the way in the back. So they weren't bad seats but they certainly weren't great seats. However, Alyson & I looked at each other and then at the B-Stage when we realized just how close we were for that. ka-ching. That was the frill for this show...yes.

The show came on! My camera didn't take well because of the lighting so I decided to take some but save it for the B-Stage. It was great because I was able to sing, dance, jump, and watch if I wanted to. I even heard the girl next to me tell her friend that "the girl next to me knows all the dance moves already".

Of course I do...would you expect anything less?

The show was great, the sound wasn't the best in the beginning and Jordan sounded off but it definitely improved as the show went on. Then it was time to make our way over to the B-Stage to get a good spot. Robo, their bodyguard, came back and was standing in people's way. Just because. Then we were all told to move back...so we did for a bit and then their assistant came over with some girl with a pass (who I'm convinced I've seen her before - I just don't know from where) and told her where to stand. So we knew to hop back over and this time they didn't tell us to leave.

They sang 3 songs back there and we were so damn close. I got a few smiles and Danny pointed at me once. Donnie didn't see me but that's what Saturday will be for! They were all in great moods, laughing & joking with each other. Donnie is amazing for fans. He would take stuff from the crowd, sign it and give it back. He took a girls sign, signed it, had Danny sign it, gave it back and blew the girl a kiss. He made her life I heard her say. Joe talked to the crowd and was goofing off with Jordan. It was fun to be that close to see them perform, sing, sweat, dance, and joke THAT close for at least 10 minutes.

It was at THAT moment I realized just how sad I'll be tomorrow night when this mini-tour is over.

After the B-Stage, they headed back up to main stage and Alyson & I just enjoyed ourselves. We sang, grooved, and screamed. Okay, I may have done more screaming than she did. Overall it was yet again a great show and I loved every second of it.

*Sound wasn't that great in the beginning but thankfully improved as the night went on
*Jon messing up the Right Stuff dance and Joe pretending to beat him up
*Jordan singing too loud during Summertime and Joe laughing at him

*Our seats were not great overall but amazing for the B Stage

*Shirt for Jordan: "let's make out all night" and then he & Joe signing off the cuff about it
*Not a lot of talk about "Let's Get This"

Finally, the 5* VIP pictures have been posted for our shows. So while I'm very happy to have these as a momento of the evening, I have a few gripes.

For what the cost is per person, these pictures are horrible. The camera they use is a small digital point & shoot that is clearly a few years old. The quality of each picture has a lot to be desired for. While I understand they may not be able to hire professional photographers for each show, they could at least use a better camera. If you try to enlarge this picture, it becomes grainey & pixely.

And not only that - ILAA (the event sponsor) does not mail you out a copy of the photo. You have to save it from their website and that's all you get. So if you wanted a high quality 5x7 or even larger picture of your experience, I hope you're okay to have a shite-arse picture.

Recap: Mohegan Sun/CT Show 9/30/08...

Alyson & I got to Mohegan Sun around 4:30pm and had to figure out exactly where to go once in Mohegan Sun. We walked through the crowded Casino and eventually found the Caberet Theatre. At one point, we saw Rodney (Interscope Rep) escort girls into the venue for the soundcheck and I was so tempted to go in, but I didn't want to miss the M&G opportunity. We get in line and I thought we were pretty far back, but in reality we weren't that far.

Two girls got in line behind us and somehow we started talking. We met two new friends, Melissa & Megan, who are extremely sweet and we hung out with them the whole night. Megan & Mel sat with us and we asked ILAA if we could all be in the same photo group. It was nice to have normal people to hang out with. Plus, we helped guide them through and helped let them know what to expect. And now we have two new friends that we get to hang out with and hopefully get together with in the future! We already know that we'll all be going to the November 8th show so we're going to plan to meet up before the show!

M&G was in the Caberet Theatre which was kind of cool to do it that way - it's a very small venue where you sit at tables and look at a stage. They had the photos taken on stage. There were groups up to Group O/P. We got checked in and got our passes (we were in Group H) and then headed to a table. We got drinks and some food and then waited a bit, but not too long. The ILAA girl explained the set up and then Robo came out and explained the rules. He wasn't in nearly as good of a mood that he was Sunday night in Boston but I do have to say the mood between Boston's M&G room and Tuesday night was completely different. Tuesday was a lot more calmer & subdued...it almost made you think that girls would actually listen and not rush them after. We got into our groups and got on stage to take our pictures. Danny didn't seem that into it, he was texting frequently in between shots. Jordan, for the most part, was friendly but reserved. Joe was Joe and was mingling about, talking to people, giving hugs. Jon was also friendly and giving hugs even though he felt like crap. He was great about asking people what their names were.

Donnie was Donnie! Donnie is the man. Donnie hugged, kissed, and genuinely took his time with everyone. He walked through the entire room and went to every table to make sure everyone got their time. Jordan did a small corner of the room and then left. Joe walked around and signed stuff and took pictures. Danny didn't walk around at first but then he did and got his way into a corner. Jon stayed by the stage for a while but eventually got into the room and took pictures and signed stuff. He had a stack of napkins with him for his nose. Did I mention he sounded like crap?? Joe took off soon after Jordan but he did well with his amount of time there. Danny left next. Jon stayed almost to the end which was surprising but he was very nice. Donnie stayed there until the very end and the Event Staff was getting annoyed because they needed him to go get ready and leave the venue as they had to set it up for something else. But no one rushed him.

When it was time for our picture, we lined up first in our group. I walked up and told Danny that his breakdance intro from Joey got one of the loudest screams from me in Boston because Joey mentioned "Fields Corner Dorchester" where we're from and he was 'oh ok'. Didn't really seem that interested. Then I made a beeline to Donnie because I noticed another girl starting to stand next to him. I asked him how he was feeling and he said like *&*#$. I asked if the doctor helped and he told me not really. He said I was very thougtful for asking. He gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek. I tried to stand next to him for the picture but these two older women came over and really did a number of overtaking him. Plus the fact that they had huge womanly assets and used them to push me out of the way didn't help either...I realized I was going to be standing by myself and I panicked. Then Joey stood in front and said "I want a piece of someone, I have no one to hold me" so I jumped out and said "I will hold you!" So he grabbed my hand and we knelt down in front together and I wrapped myself around him and he told me to hold tighter. Okay!!

After our picture, I stood up and gave Joey a hug and told him he rocked it at home and he said "but of course we did, it was home!" Then I found Jon and gave him a hug and told him to feel better. I made my way to Jordan who was quietly standing there so I said "hi, nice to see you again" and gave him a hug. Then I had to go back to Donnie...I just had to. I walked back over and said "thank you" and gave him another hug. I know, I even felt selfish at this point. I told him that I've been in love with him for years and he just smiled that Donnie grin at me. I showed him my hardware bracelet and that I've had it for 17 years because of him. He held my hand, kissed the back of my hand and then he gave me a kiss on the cheek, hugged me and picked me up! He said I was the sweetest little thing. And with that I winked and walked off the stage...

During the mingling part, I was able to get my picture with him and he signed my "DOT" sticker. He was incredibly gracious & sweet. I was also able to get my picture with Jon & Danny and Joe signed a picture of he & I from 1999. He looked at me and then the picture and said "what was this 10 years ago? My goodness..." It was so so so good! I can't wait to go back and do it all over again in November!

We had great seats - 7th row dead center so I certainly can't complain as I've been quite lucky. We originally thought we had 14th row (last row in the first section) but it turns out the numbers start off differently in the middle section!

A great show - they guys seemed into it which I was worried since Donnie & Jon were still pretty sick. Jon sounded HORRIBLE in person during the M&G. Donnie said he felt like utter *&@.
The sound during 'Single' was really bad - the mic levels were quiet versus the band. I didn't take as many pictures at this show than I did the previous two and that's probably because I had a very annoying girl in front of me who kept holding up a HUGE-ARSE sign or her hand or her pink phone. I took several pictures of just her arm or hand that I had to delete. She became an annoyance early on.

Show Glitches:

Donnie screwed up when singing Right Stuff and almost went into his solo part rather than the group and started laughing and couldn't stop. Everytime he looked at Danny, he would chuckle at himself.
The wind machine wasn't working during BIBIY and Jordan didn't open his shirt until the very end and then he even seemed shy about having it open and kept covering himself.
During the B Stage songs, Jordan almost fell off the stage when dancing during Tonight, as he lost his balance. Thankfully he got himself but then started to laugh.
The door didn't open during Twisted and Joe, Donnie & Jordan had to start singing from underneath.
Jon messed up dance moves during Right Stuff and Favorite Girl and at one point just stood until he could figure out his place.

Overall it was a really good show and the guys seemed into it, however the crowd itself didn't seem that loud but that could be me. Plus, we made two great new friends that I hope we'll continue to stay in touch with and remain friends for a long time.

Here are our "official group pictures" from the CT 5* Meet and Greet. I made every attempt to stand next to Donnie again but I was thwarted but the two shorter, older women who are in between Donnie & Jordan. They used their womanly assets to make their way in and I got pushed to the side. Thankfully Joe was standing in front and said he had no one to stand with and grabbed my hand and we knelt down in front. Besides the fact that I look like I'm throwing myself at him, he doesn't appear to be grossed out. And technically this could count as my picture with Joe since it doesn't look like I'll get it on November 8th.

I like the fact that with these pictures, we got our new friends in there with us! Shout out to Mel & Megan! Mel is between behind/next to Donnie's arm and Alyson and Megan is making a sexy lady sandwich with Alyson for Jon! Her little hand on the hip ... like check me out!

Recap: Boston Show 9/28/08...

It's hard to describe the overall day because it could very well be one of the most amazing nights of my life! That's certainly not to take away from any other wonderful night - but this definitely ranks up there as top 3! The whole day/night/show was fan-freakin'-tastic! Since it was a Sunday, Dan was all set to watch Alexander for the day. I decided to go in early and met up with Stacey to see if we could catch them &/or the buses. I originally wanted to be in there for 2pm because that's what seems to be a theme for them arriving at venues. However, due to the rain, I didn't get in there until 2:45ish.

Oh did I mention that it was raining YET AGAIN?

Stacey & I hung out on the side. A few buses drove in but parked in the back and girls tried to get back there but a security dude wouldn't let them in. Although girls were asking staff if they were here already, I had a gut feeling that they were as it was a very busy day for them. So I took it as if something happens - great. If not, I'm not going to worry as I do have 5* VIP tonight!

Then as it became time for me to meet up with Alyson and get in line for 5*, what seemed like the entire city of Boston's fire department pulled up. If the firemen didn't get off the trucks and start to set up hoses, I would have thought the boys were going to get off the trucks. For a second I was worried that there was a fire and that the show would be cancelled... thankfully I was wrong but also no boys on the trucks. No such luck... so I met up with Alyson and we got in line for 5* VIP.

As opposed to Friday night, the line was out the door rather than people standing in the hallway. I panicked at first thinking we were so far back but it ended up not being an issue. We got in line and go up to check-in. The Meet & Greet was being held in Legends Restaurant inside so you had to go upstairs, and then go up another flight of stairs and then wait. There was one girl who was quite overweight and at first I felt bad for her because she had to go up the stairs and it was obviously a problem for her but then when Garden security pointed out an escalator and she said no and continued to bitch about walking up stairs and how she was going to have a heart attack, I lost sympathy for her. Before the check-in table is the merchandise table which was causing some confusion for those who didn't want to buy anything. Finally, we get up to the check-in table for our turn.

We get up to the table and I keep saying in my head "please be Section B, that's all I ask, Section B". We sign in, get our tickets, laminates, and goodies and I step to the side and immediately check my tickets. OH MY! I start to freak out a bit and Alyson just looks at me as if I'm lying. She gets a bit worried at first but then she knows exactly what I'm holding. Crazy! YUP - that's right, we are now the proud owners of FRONT ROW CENTER seats. How we got so lucky is still a mystery but one I'll gladly accept! We kept looking at our tickets as if they were going to change back to what they really were. But nope - front row. We would look at each other and just laugh. And then while sitting there we would just say "Front Row - we have Front Row".

Then it's time for the actual Meet & Greet (M&G). Robo (their bodyguard from even back in the day) comes out and gives the rules (no rushing the guys, no taking pictures from your own camera when up for the group photo, no blocking them as they walk around, etc) and he seems to be in a really good mood. He explains that people should stay in their seat. Did they?? NOOOOO! Why won't these women realize they need to act their age?

The guys come into the room and although Donnie is sick, he comes running in. With no hat - nice! They're all in good moods and seem really happy to be back home!

They line up the groups and take the photos. It's our turn and and we're standing first in our group ('N'). I realized that being first has a huge advantage as you can say Hi, take your time and then just stay put with where you want to stand for the picture. I say Hi to Danny and give him a hug - he was very sweet and thanked me for coming. Next was Donnie. I walked right up to him, gave him a hug and we gave each other a kiss on the check. I told him I was just going to stand here right next to him and for him not to let go and he said "but of course". Then I told him when he mingles if he could come over to the side and he said he couldn't promise because he has a doctor coming after the photos. I apologized to him for not feeling well and he said it's "okay baby, I feel good now that you're here." I could have melted. He started to hug other girls but kept one arm around me. Some girl gave me a very, very dirty look. She knocked the bottle of water out of his hand, so I reached down to get it and Donnie kept his hand on my lower back the whole time. sigh. Then it was time to take the picture and Danny was trying to pull me closer to him and said you gotta let the girls in. I said "Sorry Danny but I can't leave Donnie" so he said "sure thing they can crouch down" and he put his arm around me too! Not a bad combo if you ask me! I got on my tiptoes to make sure I was in the picture and then they took the picture. I gave Donnie another hug and told him to feel better. Then Joe was standing directly in front of me (it made me wonder if he was actually in the picture). He said "hey how are ya doing". I said good and told him that he looked good and I loved his scarf. He said "why thank ya". Then I told him we were in front row so I expected him to rock it. And I got a thumbs up. Before we were going to get pushed out, I made my way over to Jordan and gave him a hug and said Hi, thanks. He said Hi and that was about it. Last hug was Jon. He was too busy checking out this girl and her shirt (she was very pretty), then he turned around and said "thanks for coming" and we hugged, I said Thanks and I went back to my seat. I was very happy!

As for the mingling, I knew Donnie wouldn't be around so I just sat back and relaxed. Jordan walked by quickly but no one really knew what he was doing so he didn't get hounded. He plays the confusion card well. He did a circle around the place and then he left by the side exit. Jon left pretty much immediately but did sign a few autographs on his way out. Joe definitely stayed the longest. He walked around the whole room and he signed stuff as he walked. He was very nice & friendly. Danny started to go around but signed stuff and then left by the side entrance. Overall, even though Donnie didn't walk around, it was definitely still worth it.

Then we got to our seats and the whole night started to sink in. While Natasha was on a SLEW of kids came up and stood in front of us against the barrier. One of the girls was very sweet and told me that they were only staying during Natasha as they weren't allowed to be there during New Kids. She told me they were Joe's nieces and nephews. There was a ton of them! But she was quite sweet. Then after they left 3 women snuck in and stood at our place on the barricade. I heard her say "there's no way in hell i'm leaving here". It was going to get ugly. They were friends of the family so I know they shouldn't be there as they were already backstage. She was saying how she got her picture taken with Jordan. Thankfully security went down the row and asked everyone for a ticket and since they didn't have one they were told and then forced to leave. Okay, security checked for tickets because I asked them too...hahaha!

One interesting point to note. The person who sat next to me... yeah, the very large, overweight girl who complained earlier in the night. She was so large, she took up her seat, 1/2 of mine and 1/2 of the other seat. Before the guys came on, I was sitting down next to her and she stood up and I literally was bounced out of my seat! Alyson & I had to look away from laughing outloud. It was so funny yet sad all at the same time.

Another thing I don't understand is why girls would get SO drunk. The majority of girls attending are girls who are DYING to see them perform again and you're so drunk that you can't remember your own name, you fall down, or you vomit on yourself. How is that a fun evening if you can't even remember the show!? Yeah, that's why I'm not a fan of drinking...We had a couple drunkards and one of them just stood at my seat and wouldn't leave. A couple people tried to get her to move but she was so gone she couldn't even understand what people were saying to her. Charlie Brown anyone? WAHH WAHH WAHH WAHH.

Enough of that craziness...The actual show was amazing. I have to say I was so much calmer and more relaxed once the show started than I was Friday night when I was further back on the floor. I just kept taking a step back and taking it all in and actually WATCHING them perform instead of jumping to see what they were doing or watching the screen. What amazes me is that even though I actually WATCHED the show I still managed to get over 350+ pictures. And this is all while watching the show...

There were so many points in the show where Donnie was on the extended stage RIGHT in FRONT of me and would look down. It was a dream come true to be that close as he performs. Several times during the night, I'd put my hand up in the hopes he'd (or anyone) would slap it but nothing until the very end during Hangin' Tough! Then I got my Donnie-hand-slap!

At one point at the end of the show, (I think during Summertime) Joe was dancing in front of us and he was smiling & winking at some one. I thought to myself "whoa - that's cool if you can get that connection with Joe". And then it hit me - Joe's smiling at ALYSON. I look over at her and she's smiling back and says to me "oh yeah, it was with me". Too funny.

The guys were incredible, the show was incredible, our seats were incredible, the night was incredible!

A few little bloopers that were quite entertaining:

Jon forgot some dance steps and Joe saying "come on buddy" and they were chuckling
Jordan missing a few words during GITY
Joe & Donnie bumped into each other and Joe couldn't stop laughing

I never would have picked up on these little things if I was not so blessed to be in the Front Row. Believe you me - I understand just how fortunate & lucky I am for what happened and I'm so thankful. The whole show was amazing even without an appearance from Paul Pierce. To top it all off, VH1 was there broadcasting the first 3 songs LIVE and when I got home I turned on my DVR and watched it all over again! And the coolest part is that you can see Alyson & I!

Alyson & I are going on Tuesday to CT (5* again) so hopefully Donnie's feeling better so I can get a picture and then be in my blissful state...
